Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

Brooklyn is still not sure what to think about snow. She just knew that it was cold, and late, and dark, and that was enough reason for everyone to be inside. Luckily, we managed to snap this picture of her smiling first.

The next day we all went in the backyard to try to build a snowman. There was PLENTY of snow, but it was definitely not wet enough. Oh well... we managed to create our own Bryce Canyon formation. That's all that we managed to do though, before Brooklyn let us know that she was DONE with being outside in the snow. Truth be told, she wasn't even in the snow-- she was sitting on a blanket on the back porch. But, it was pretty bright, and she was hungry-- thus the cracker in her mouth.

The last weekend in February Grandpa Heaton came out to visit for Great Grandpa Heaton's birthday party. We loved having him here, and so appreciated him reading "Terry Toots" to Brooklyn (her favorite book). We went over the mountain to help family celebrate Great Grandpa's birthday, and after the celebration, a few of us went tubing! It was fun, but Brooklyn preferred trying to scoop up the snow with her spoon.

I absolutely LOVE the expression on her face while she is eating the cracker. She is sooooo cute. We miss Cedar so much.
